Step up, say your question into the mic. These are the ones we hear most, sorted into four sets so you can skip to the one you came for.
Before you buy
- Is a mini karaoke machine right for a four-year-old?
- Yes, with an adult nearby for the first evening. The mics switch on with one button, the voices are a single press away and the volume ceiling is set with small ears in mind. Many of our singers are three; many are twelve.
- How loud does it get?
- Loud enough to fill a living room, not loud enough to rattle the windows. The cube is tuned for children, and there is a headphone jack for the evenings when even that is too much.
- Does the color change anything?
- Only the look. Pastels tend to go to younger singers, black and dark green to older ones, off-white to shared family rooms. Every classic cube is the same machine inside.
- Do I need the three- or four-mic set?
- Only if three or more people in the house will reach for a microphone on a normal evening. Two mics cover one child plus a partner. More mics do not change the speaker.
Unboxing night
- What is in the box?
- The cube, the microphones for that set, USB charging cables, a user manual and the Karafun voucher. The gift box is sturdy enough to become the permanent home for the mics.
- Should I charge it first?
- Please do, fully, before the first song. A cube that dies in the middle of the opening number is a hard way to start.
- How do the microphones connect to the speaker?
- Switch the cube on, then each microphone. They find the speaker on their own within a few seconds. There is no menu and nothing to type.
- How do I play music?
- Open Bluetooth on a phone, tablet or laptop and pick the cube. Any app that plays sound now plays through it. The included month of Karafun Premium adds karaoke versions with lyrics on screen.
Living with it
- Can it work without a phone?
- Yes. Put songs on a TF card and slide it into the slot on the cube. The card is not included. Older kids also pair their own MP3 players.
- How long does a charge last?
- Between three and ten hours. Full volume with the light ring on sits at the short end; a quiet playlist with lights off reaches the long end.
- Can the lights be switched off?
- Yes, the ring has its own button, separate from the music.
- How far can the singer wander?
- About fifty feet from the cube, which covers a living room and the hallway where the shy singer prefers to stand.
- Does it work as a normal Bluetooth speaker?
- It does. Many families leave it on the kitchen counter between shows and play dinner music through it.

- Where do I actually buy?
- Every button on this site opens the product at our partner store, where you add it to a cart and pay. Nothing is sold on these pages.
- Is the price here the final price?
